We are a small group of enthusiasts meeting in Howick in Auckland (New Zealand). We are the longest continuously running Linux User Group in Auckland!
We have very informal meetings to discuss problems, new discoveries and new developments. Our meetings are free and open to all. We meet in the library area of the Prospect of Howick on the first Thursday of every month at 7:30pm. Meetings usually last 1-3 hours, typically depending on when the Prospect staff tells us they're closing. People are free to leave at any time though. You can find the way on Google Maps Wifi and electrical plugs are available so feel free to bring your laptop or other device along. You aren't required to buy anything from the bar but most of us buy a drink and some will buy snacks. Most of us are amateurs, though a few IT professionals are also members.
